アメリカの学校、スポーツチーム、軍のトレーニングなどで日常的に使われてきたスウェットパンツを背景にした一本。運動着として生まれた簡潔な構造は、使い込みや、退色などで、古着ならではの個人的な表情へ変わっていく。
日焼け、洗濯、摩擦を重ねた乾いた退色がこのアイテムの大きな特徴として読み取れる。BOW WOWでは整い過ぎた復刻ではなく、持ち主の生活や用途が後から服に刻まれたような状態を先に想定し、その“時間の痕跡”まで含めて新品のプロダクトとして組み立てている。

This piece draws inspiration from sweatpants that have been a staple in American schools, sports teams, and military training. Their simple construction, originally designed for athletic wear, evolves over time through wear and fading to take on the unique, personal character of vintage clothing.
The dry, faded appearance—the result of repeated sun exposure, washing, and friction—is a defining characteristic of this item. At BOW WOW, rather than creating a perfectly polished reissue, we envision a state where the owner’s lifestyle and usage are already imprinted on the garment, and we assemble it as a brand-new product that incorporates even those “traces of time.”
